This familiar looking machine is the

patriarch of the Tandy WP2 and

WP3 sold in North America and

Europe.  Originally manufactured for Tandy Corporation by Citizen the Tandy WP2 was

made in a sleek all black case.  The original, or real thing, is the Citizen CBM-10WP

Portable Word Processor.  Well, 8bit-Micro has acquired this elusive number and we have

them to offer you.  These are beautiful units with a light grey case, ROM programmed by

NTS Computer Systems Ltd.  For those who don't know NTS is THE company that develop

portable applications for the education market in Canada.  A great word processor that is

also know to run machine language programs, like the Tandy, just by pressing RUN.

The Citizen CBM-10WP is very rare indeed, as many of these units were re-badged as the

NTS-WP10, the forerunner of the DreamWriter.  This is highly collectable and very hard to

aquire.
